Prior to the wetdown the truck is blessed by Father Varga of St. Peter The Apostle church.

A tremendous amount of our success with this event was because of the great food we served. Outback was kind enough to DONATE several hundred hamburgers and a couple hundred pounds of french fries as well as the staff to cook those burgers to perfection. They were professionals throughout the event and we encourage all of our friends and neighbors to patronize their Parsippany location.
Another food vendor we had on hand was Pomptonian, known to many as the food vendor for the Board of education they served a larger variety of food and a considerably greater volume of food then Outback did. If you left hungry - it was your own fault, these folks served some great food! You all can show your support for these guys by eating your hot lunch in one of our far cities High School Cafeterias

Totowa Fire Department does it right with two hand lines.

Rockaway Township Fire District 2 - Mount Hope F.D. and Denville F.D. are giving 642 a good soaking. And are joined by Boonton Township Fire Department and Neshanic

Suddenly we had foam, but none of us recall which company used it.

Riverdale arrives, and while they are the second to use foam, they make up for their timing by making the wetdown look like the North Pole. Car 604 looks like a glazed donut.

Caldwell F.D. arrives to join in the fun, followed closely by the guys from Highland Lakes F.D. You'll notice the guys from Highland lakes are having some fun at the expensive of Caldwell, crimping hoses and even getting their hose clamp on Caldwells line and "playing dead" with the hose clamp in a bear hug so the guys from Caldwell get no water. An unorthodox move to say the least, it definitely amused the crowds!

And here comes our brother from Parsippany Districts 1, 2, & 5. It was an honor to have you guys and we cannot wait until the joint wetdown of District 1, 5, & 6 in August 2005
Nutley F.D.
We are getting the starts of a great crowd and it is still hotter then an oven out!

The boys from Pine Brook F.D. come and douse 604 & 642.
The day goes to sleep and a full moon lurks
Inside, the party is rockin with Fallen From Grace
The band learns a new dance

Sean Golden, son of Chief Sean Golden, tries out for the band. Threatened by his exceptional talent he gets a signed drum stick instead of a job.
