In the Autumn of 2004 the Board of Fire Commissioners of Parsippany Troy Hills Township Fire District 4 ordered a 2005 Pierce Lance Engine. This engine is to be designated 642 and was designed with the Officers & Firefighters of The Lake Hiawatha Fire Department. Below is a rendition based on the specification as drawn by Chief Engineer Paul Koert.

Engine 642 is in the last stages of completion, final inspection was completed at the Pierce plant in Wisconsin (picture below dated 9 February) and everything looked fine. Delivery will be in a few week.
