Lake Hiawatha Fire Department

Final Inspection of Engine 642
Appleton, Wisconsin

The work that goes into purchasing a new fire engine is monumental, from the bid process right up to outfitting it with equipment after it's been delivered you can be sure that someone is hard at work making sure everything goes right. One of the ways quality is insured is by inspecting the vehicle before it leaves the manufacturers to insure it meets the specifications and that everything looks as it should. Commisioner Schneider & Chief Golden flew out to the Pierce plant to make the final inspection of our new Engine and what they found is breathtaking! 642 is quite a fine Engine, as you can see below !
